![]() ![]() I wanted to upload photos to show you, but the system won’t let me. I made no adjustments, I didn’t touch the program or the work piece. This time the K40 goes to the top right and spells MILA out properly. Without adjusting anything, I hit the start button again. The K40 goes to the bottom right and writes MILA with all the letters on top of one another. I ran the word MILA in the middle of my work space. For example, I wanted to do some test burns for a dog tag I would like to make my new puppy. When I start a job in lightburn, sometimes the machine randomly goes to a completely different location. ![]() I then measured my bed from where the laser will go to each corner and input that into lightburn (I am not sure if there is a way to get coordinates for setting bed size based on machine feedback?) I set my origin to the top right (everything else seemed to mirror my screen and the workspace, top right seems to give me a what you see is what you get. So I added that in with the files and lightburn seemed to recognize my board. So I reuploaded the smoothie firmware, config file and I noticed that the previous files had something called usbser.inf file. Since I had saved the old files, I tried to put those back on the SD card and that would not work either. When I ran it on the board and asked lightburn to find it it could not. I downloaded smoothie firmware, a new config text and loaded it onto the USB. I was doing some reading about making sure the firmware was up to date and like a moron I did something stupid. The machine had Laser-GRBL on the mini SD card. ![]() ![]() Hi all, I apologize in advance if this is not all cohesion specific, I am having issues with my K40 and am trying to sort out where the problem is and think it could possibly be a board setup issue.īackground, I bought this K40 used with a cohesion board already setup on it. ![]()
